THE LONG STORY
Stone Flock is a mesmerizing abstract representation of the schooling and flocking behaviors found in biological populations, evoking the harmonious movement and collective rhythms of nature. This captivating installation is composed of 10,000 pounds of locally sourced beach stones, meticulously suspended on 246 individual steel cables. Each stone appears to float effortlessly, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow that brings the piece of life. The arrangement captures the essence of unity and flow, transforming natural materials into a breathtaking tribute to the interconnectedness of life.
